All orders that are accepted by MAN•MEAT•FIRE Ltd are subject to these terms and conditions of sale, which supersede any previous terms and conditions. All descriptions and illustrations contained in this website are only intended to give a general idea of the products, specifications may vary slightly. You must be eighteen years old or older to use this site. If you are under eighteen, you may only use this site with the agreement of, and under the supervision of, a parent or guardian. If you do not qualify, please do not use this site. - ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

You will not use the Website for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these Terms and Conditions. 7.4 Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall be construed so as to exclude or limit the liability of MAN MEAT FIRE for death or personal injury as a result of the negligence of MAN•MEAT•FIRE or that of its employees or agents. - INDEMNITY
You agree to indemnify and hold MAN•MEAT•FIRE and its employees and agents harmless from and against all liabilities, legal fees, damages, losses, costs and other expenses in relation to any claims or actions brought against MAN•MEAT•FIRE arising out of any breach by you of these Terms and Conditions or other liabilities arising out of your use of this Website. - SEVERANCE
If any of these Terms and Conditions should be determined to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable for any reason by any court of competent jurisdiction then such Term or Condition shall be severed and the remaining Terms and Conditions shall survive and remain in full force and effect and continue to be binding and enforceable. - GOVERNING LAW
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and you hereby submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. - KNIVES
In the UK it is illegal to purchase a knife if you are under 18 years of age. We will give our full co-operation to the authorities in respect of any violation of the Act. Therefore MAN•MEAT•FIRE will only sell knives to persons who declare that they are over 18. MAN•MEAT•FIRE reserve the right to refuse sale of any knife to any customer. - PRICES
Orders can be sent via our Website using PayPal, by telephone or by post. All items are subject to availability, we will notify you if any item is out of stock and will contact you if necessary to replace or remove the item(s) from your order or notify you when the item(s) will be back in stock and available for dispatch. Should you request any out of stock items to be delivered separately, we will not charge postage twice for deliveries within mainland UK only. We will contact you to discuss deliveries of this nature outside UK mainland. - DELIVERY
Orders will usually be dispatched within 24 hours of receipt, however please allow up to 7 days for delivery. If you require express delivery please request via email and we will endeavor to ensure this takes place.
Parcels will be delivered via the Royal Mail depending on the weight and size of the parcel. Please provide an alternative delivery address if you are unable to accept deliveries during working hours. For deliveries outside of the UK Mainland please contact us with your order request and we will calculate the postage costs depending on the weight of the parcel. The current delivery charge is set at £6.00 for all orders to mainland UK regardless of the number of products ordered *(with the exception of northern Scotland and Northern Ireland). We reserve the right to change the set delivery charge without prior notice.
* Knife sets of 5 items or more, will be charged at normal retail price + £10 p+p.
Any claims for non delivery, shortages or breakages must be made in writing within two days of delivery. NO CLAIMS WILL BE ENTERTAINED AFTER THIS PERIOD. - RETURNS / REFUNDS / CANCELLATION / COMPLAINTS
Should you be dissatisfied with your product(s), in the first instance please contact us and let us know the nature of the problem and we will endeavor to reach a satisfactory solution within 5 working days. We are happy to replace or refund goods depending on the nature of the problem and will do this within 10 working days. Claims for faulty goods will only be settled after the faulty goods have been returned with the nature of the fault clearly stated, we will do this within 10 working days of receipt of goods. Any goods returned incomplete i.e. packaging missing, etc. will not be replaced or credited. Similarly any goods found to have been used will not be replaced or credited. Should you wish to cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible and we will make every effort to stop your order leaving the premises and will refund any payments made. - PAYMENT
15.1 Payment can be made via our Paypal service on our website. Alternatively you can write to 1us with your order, accompanied by a cheque made payable to MAN MEAT FIRE Ltd, to include the relvant postage. Cheques are subject to clearance before delivery. We reserve the right to charge bank charges on cheques which are represented. We reserve the right to refuse any transactions.
15.2 Your responsibilities if you break these Conditions You agree that if you break these Conditions, or any liabilities are incurred arising out of your use of this website, you will be responsible for the costs and expenses that we or our officers, directors, employees, agents and suppliers incur as a result of the breach, including reasonable legal fees (if applicable). You will remain liable if someone else uses your shopping account and/or personal information unless you can prove that such use was fraudulent. - RESERVATION OF TITLE
The risk of the goods passes to the buyer upon delivery from the carrier, but the TITLE in the goods remain vested in us and shall only pass from us to the buyer upon full payment made by the buyer, of all sums due on whatsoever account or grounds to us. - PRIVACY POLICY
We are extremely concerned to protect your privacy and confidentiality. We understand that all users of our site are quite rightly concerned to know that their data will not be used for any purpose unintended by them, and will not fall into the hands of a third party. Our policy is both specific and strict. If you think our policy falls short of your expectations or that we are failing to abide by our policy, do please tell us.
We do not share, or sell, or disclose to a third party, any personally identifiable information collected at this site. If this policy should change in the future then we shall provide notification in advance and the opportunity for all users to indicate whether or not they would prefer that we do not provide the information to third parties as proposed. Information is disclosed to third parties only where the third party concerned qualifies in whatever way the web site page requires. We will make absolutely clear on the face of the page, any intention to publicise the name of a winner.
17. 4 Disclosure to Government
and their agencies. We are subject to the law like everyone else. We may be required to give information to legal authorities if they so request or if they have the proper authorisation such as a search warrant or court order.
17 .5 Information request
At any time you may review or update the personally identifiable information that we hold about you, by contacting us. To better safeguard your information, we will also take reasonable steps to verify your identity before granting access or making corrections to your information.
You can make changes at any time to the information we keep about you and will exclude you from any further promotions at your expressed wishes (please email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. We are fully compliant with the Data Protection Act 1998. - Prices contained within written quotations will remain unchanged until the date of the event. Where the date of the function is unspecified within the quote, we can only guarantee prices for up to 2 months.
- STAGE 1 - A confirmation pack will be sent out once an agreement on a booking has been made.
- STAGE 2 - All bookings are considered provisional until a 25% non-refundable deposit is received along with accompanying booking documents duly signed and returned. This will secure our services on your chosen date and bind you by these terms. However, some details can be changed after this time up to 2 weeks prior to the event.
- STAGE 3 (not compulsory) - A taster session can be booked at a cost of £50, which allows our clients to sample the food for the event and make changes to the recipe if needed. We would recommend this giving plenty of time for amendments before the week -2 cut off.
- We are not a nut free production company as many of the dishes we produce may contain nut traces and / or sesame seeds and we must be notified well in advance of the event of any special diet requirements.
- STAGE 4 - 2 weeks prior to the event, we will require a confirmation of numbers and any amendments. These include catering numbers, final details on timing, food and special instructions as detailed in the confirmation documents. To secure this we will request a following non-refundable 25% payment of the confirmed total booking costs, and confirmation documents duly signed and returned. From this day unfortunately no changes will be permitted and no refunds can be given.
- Should any changes to the agreed menu occur after this date, the quote may be subject to a new quotation and resulting administrative costs.
- STAGE 5 - The outstanding balance will be required one week before the day of the event.
- MAN . MEAT . FIRE reserve the right to cancel any booking if payments are made after the deadlines. However, the payments will still be charged.
- To be able to attend your event we will require access for our vehicle and suitable parking close by for free access to the function areas.
- The dimensions of our vehicle are : H2.0M X W1.8M X D3.9M
- Please check that the access to the site is clear and that the barbecue will fit your chosen venue. We cannot be held responsible if it does not.
- The dimensions of our barbecue are : W1.5M x D0.75M x H0.9M
- We will be bringing 2 serving tables for the serving of the food. Please allow adequate space for these.
- If you would like the food served elsewhere please let us know.
- In such occurrences MAN . MEAT . FIRE cannot be held responsible for the strength of the table, and access to it.
- The dimensions for each table is : W1.6M X D0.77M X H0.75M and W1.9M XD 0.77 X H0.75M
- We will require a well lit, level, outdoor area for the barbecue and the various team and tables etc.
- In inclement weather we will require to erect our gazebo. Please allow adequate space for this.
- The dimensions for the gazebo are : W4.5M x D3M.
- Travel within a 50 mile radius of High Wycombe, Bucks is FREE. Any distance over that will be charged at 60p per mile, based on our Garmin Satellite Navigation system. This will be confirmed in advance and added as part of the overall cost.
- At MAN•MEAT•FIRE we always aim to beat the traffic through early departure from our premises. If however we should be held up in traffic we cannot be held responsible if the service is not delivered on time.

General Liability
We do not accept liability for any failure to provide the service contracted which is due to circumstances beyond our control, including electricity and water failures, or fire alarm evacuation.
Public Liability
To protect ourselves against any 3rd Party Claims, MAN•MEAT•FIRE LTD has obtained Full Public Liability insurance. Please feel free to browse our legalities page if you would like proof of this cover.
